Italy - 2025-06-19 - PuroBeach

We treated ourselves to a bougie beach and it did not disappoint. Public transportation is a dream in most of Europe and this was no different. We found the bus station and got off at a bus stop 'just above' the beach.  It's a beautiful walk down (or you can get a taxi), but it's a little steep.  I was not looking forward to walking back up. The condos are all built into the side of the hill and we could only imagine what views each and everyone had available.

Welcome to PuroBeach!

We had our poolside chairs with a big umbrella to which they brought drinks, water and chips (included in the fee along with dressing rooms, big bathrooms and towels).  There's a bar and restaurant so we didn't need to move much.

We decided to go down to the beach on the other side of the pool. It's a rocky beach, rather than sand or pebble.

When we got back to our chairs, we found that all our chips were gone and this MFer had a smug grin.

Oh well, we had a fantastic couple of hours reading, napping, swimming and of course, eating good food.

It was a great decision to do this a few days before we left to top off the trip on a very relaxed note.

The trudge up the hill wasn't bad and we returned to Trieste and slept the sleep of the dead.
