After our loooong day in Venice - a good one, just long - we decided to lay around and then take a walk and check out Interactive Matisse. As always, Florence has such wonderful art and fabulous views. I never get tired of them.
Interactive Matisse is in an old church so when the imagery is projected it is sometimes a juxtaposition between altars and crosses. They have done a wonderful job combining jazz (Matisse's favorite music) with great images. Bonus - hardly anyone was there AND it was nice and cool. The images and music was on an appx 45 min cycle. When you were done watching/listening, you could go downstairs and see even more information about Matisse.
We ended the day with some yummy homemade pizza (courtesy JR). Staying in this condo made all the difference - perfect location, great views, screens!, AC and a fully loaded kitchen.
